UseAgents is a discovery layer for AI agents. You publish structured metadata for your CLI, SDK, API, or library once. Agents query that registry at runtime - instead of defaulting to whatever their training data remembers - then follow your docs for the rest. MCP, the REST API, and the CLI are how agents query the registry. They are transports, not the product.
Querying UseAgents via MCP or the REST API is currently free during our public beta. Requests are subject to rate limits.

Quick start

Pick the path that matches what you want to do:

Add your tool

Create a draft listing and fill in agent-ready metadata.

Connect

Query the registry over MCP, the REST API, or the CLI.

Edit and publish

Update fields, review changes, and deploy to the live registry.

Browse the registry

Explore live tools before you publish or connect an agent.

For developers

If you own a tool, publish once and keep the listing accurate as your product changes. Good listings help agents choose your tool under real constraints - not only when they already know your name.

For agents

Connect once - over MCP, the REST API, or the CLI - then search tools by task instead of guessing from training data.
